Electric Playhouse Travels, a collaboration between EDG and Electric
Playhouse, was developed to bring a STEAM immersive experience to
the museum community.

The mission is to deliver repeat visitors to the institution through a unique experience that encourages play and curiosity. The digital hands-free experience is a mix of games and artistic interactives that are ready for exploration. Using projection mapping and sensors, movements are tracked for the interactions without the need for headsets or other wearable devices.

The best part about Electric Playhouse Travels is that the games and art experiences are constantly changing! All the interactive spaces can instantly be changed by the touch of a button. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, we’ll blow your mind all over again with a whole new set of fun activities built by a team of STEAM career professionals.

Exhibition Highlights:

• One large experience zone, called an arena
• Two smaller experience zones, called Pods, can transform at the touch of a screen—allowing guests to switch between games, a selfie station, or an interactive graphics wall
• Three interactive kiosks for guests to change the games and explore on their own
• 10 interactive games
• 16 interactive visuals
• Education materials
• Endless photo opportunities and a designated selfie station
