ART from the SCIENCE of CLIMATE CHANGE

Environmental Graphiti – The Art of Climate Change – uses contemporary art to enhance public awareness about the science of climate change. Each of the 50+ digital paintings uses as its "blueprint" a graph, chart, map, word or number relating to a key fact about climate change.

The art is vibrant and beautiful, delivering the message about climate change in a unique and powerful way. Art makes the science more accessible. Science makes the art more meaningful. They are a powerful combination.

MEOW WOLF: THE DUE RETURN

An inter-dimensional ship has settled on an alien landscape, bearing the marks of its previous voyages, a hodgepodge of transport devices and retro-fitted technologies. The interior speaks of its rich history and passengers, discoverable through a vast fictional archive presented throughout the ship. Its foreign environment is filled with alien flora, fauna, and fungi: glowing trees that interact with visitors, cliff dwellings sprouting mysterious fruits, and creatures singing alien tunes. A collaboration of over 100 national and international artists, the project incorporates video, live performance

POMPEII: THE IMMORTAL CITY

In just 24 hours, Pompeii and neighboring Herculaneum were buried by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Lost for centuries, the site remained nearly untouched until 1748. Today, advanced scientific research uncovers the extraordinary achievements of Pompeii and the Roman world. Through artworks, unique interactives, and multimedia experiences, visitors will journey through time to a 1st-century Roman town. They will stand at the center of events, feeling the earth rumble beneath their feet, and hearing the roar of Mount Vesuvius as it erupts before their eyes. The scientific concept is by Museo Galileo in Florence and Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Naples.
